Anthropic’s hiring manager and head of engineering for Claude-related products, Felix Rieseberg, stated that his team has eliminated traditional coding‑challenge interviews, bluntly declaring, “Coding interviews are dead—at least for my team.” He believes that AI models like Claude can effortlessly tackle small React challenges and even low‑level assembly‑language problems, rendering traditional coding tests less effective at distinguishing candidates’ true engineering abilities.
