Tech media outlet Gigazine reports that developer @0x_Osprey has launched a web-based CVE Tracker, which visualizes changes in the number of vulnerabilities assigned CVE identifiers, showing a nearly vertical upward trend since 2026. CVE is the globally standardized vulnerability numbering system, used by security researchers, vendors, and enterprises to track, report, and remediate flaws. The tool compiles public records into trend charts and overlays them with the release dates of mainstream AI models, enabling an intuitive comparison between vulnerability growth and AI releases.
